Can't believe it's been 6 months...

Today marks 6 months since my Dad passed a way suddenly. It still feels so surreal. The time has flown by and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of him throughout the day. It feels like at any moment I could see him or get a call from him.

I'm so sorry. Having lost both of my parents suddenly, I know what you are going through. Its always hard, but the 1st year is the toughest.

I feel your saddness...tomorrow is 1 year since my dad passed. I still don't believe it...that he is not here...that I will never see him again. So surreal and brutally unfair that he died at such as young age.

I'm so sorry. I lost my mom suddenly 8 years ago and my dad suddenly 5 years ago. Those expecting to hear from them moments definitely fade in time. I don't know if that makes me feel better or worse some days.

6 months is still so fresh in your mind and you're right, it just plain sucks. I wanted to fast forward my life to get out of that feeling. But the problem with grieving is that you have to feel all that in order to feel better.

I still can't look at pictures or even go through either parents' things (I have bins and bins of what I decided to keep in my attic).

But one thing is for sure, as time passes, it does get a little bit easier to deal with.
Hang in there.
