car accident
please tell me somebody has had a stupid accdent like this before, so i dont feel so dumb for doing it 
ok... so last night i went to visit my friend in philly. i missed the exit i was supposed to take so i got off at an unfamiliar exit to try to turn around. well, being in the city the streets were SUPER narrow. i stopped at an intersection, and there was a fire hydrant to my right. when i made my right turn, i turned too sharply and the back of my 2006 SUV jumped the curb and hit the fire hydrant. the damage is BAD!! i literally need two new doors on the passenger side because there's such deep scrapes and i just feel sooo stupid because it just seems like such a stupid mistake to make.i was crying on the phone to my mom becasue i just love my car so much and its still new and pretty and i had to go and do something stupid! but, i just got the ball rolling with the insurance so hopefully it will get fixed soon.
but luckily when i got to my friends house, she had a big glass of wine waiting for me

Girl, I hit the yellow pole in my parking lot at work pulling into my space and turned my black car into a city cab, with all the yellow paint I got on it. Plus, some major denting. I do dumb s*it, too....it happens!

I backed into a fire hydrant once - needed a brand new bumper.
I cried for hours over it - even though it was a total accident.
It sucks -

Sounds like something that would happen to me! I am not good at ALL with negotiating turns, etc.
I have terrible depth perception.
Don't feel dumb! It happens!
Sorry about your car. I know how you feel. I am a crazy lady about my new car- I park it MILES away at the stores, I worry about it constantly. I can't imagine how you must feel!
