Car Question....
DH and I bought a 2006 PT Cruiser yesterday! I absolutely  it. We got a really good deal on it and it's my style.
One problem though....it doesn't have remote key entry. DH told me we can get it put in BUT I am not so convinced. I think DH wanted the car so bad he didn't care if it didn't have remote entry.
I CARE!
Does anyone know if this is something I can have installed?
The car has power locks just no remote entry.

I'm pretty sure it can be installed easily. I had a remote starter put in after I bought my car, and the dealer only had it half a day.

Yes, if it already has power locks, it is not a problem, just make sure you have someone reputable do it, because they are playing with your whole electrical system.

You can absolutely install it as long as you have power locks. HTH
ETA: BTW most dealerships bring in outside people to install anything like this that was not done in the factory. If you want ask them who they use.

My last car didn't have remote entry. I had them put it in before I drove it off the lot.
It shouldn't be a problem!

Yes! I had this installed in my car afterwards. I also had them install remote start which I love in the winter I think I paid somewhere around $200 for both.

If you are near Bellmore - I totally recommend this store on Bewbridge road. Street stereo or something. Not sure of the name, but they are right next door to Bellmore farms (Use to be biggest banana) 1 block down from 7-11.
I got mine there for $180 installed and they do excellent work. My mother in law and father in law also got their cars done there.

My PT has an aftermarket remote start. I can also open the windows with the keyfob.
