Car seat adapter question

So I mentioned on Sunday that MIL bought us the Mutsy 4Rider. DH said the carseat adapter wasn't in stock at the time but it is coming in.

My question: With a stroller system that has a chassis and interchangeable bases (like the Bugaboo), does a car seat adapter mean that it makes it so my car seat will clip into the chassis (like a snap n go)?

DH didn't really know but he said he thought the adapter would make it so we just clip the careseat into the chassis.

The adapter does make the carseat fit on to the chassis.

We have the bugaboo frog and the graco adapter. We just click the adapter on the chassis, then the car seat on top of that and it's ready to go.
