Car Seat Age
My oldest son turned 4 in January and I was going to take his car seat out of the car when school started again, but a woman at work told me the age for not needing a car seat was rasied from 4 to 7. Is that right? How can that be if 4, 5 and 6 year olds take the school bus without a car seat?

I believe she is correct
- for instance, my almost 7 year old godaughter is still in a booster seat in the car

Wow, thanks. But I still don't understand why childern are allowed to ride the school bus with just seat belts.

My son is 5 and he uses a booster seat, easier and less bulky than and actual car seat... but yes he has to use it until he is 7
