Car Seat Installation (x-post)

Did you have your car seat checked by Police (or other authority) when you installed it?

If so, where did you go and what did you do? Do you have to call and make an appointment with an officer or something?

If not, do you feel that you did it right and weren't worried about it?

I had mine installed by the Police. I don't think I could have done it right, its really hard to get it as tight as it needs to be -- three officers were in my car at once doing it!
