Car seat installation....weekends in Nassau? Is that possible?
Usually I use the car seat guy that we all know. But my girls have outgrown the comfortsport and I need to get the nautilus put into my DH's car and my parents car. The girls only occasionally ride in my DH's car on weekends or if something goes wrong with my car.
DH is starting a new job tomorrow that will mean very late hours and most weekends. My parents are NOT very flexible and won't drive distances to get it done.
Where can I get their seats inspected in Nassau on a weekend? Is this even possible. DH would be willing to go to Hassle (I see it mentioned here) - but do they do weekends? My parents refuse to drive that far (I know don't get me started that is another vent post).

I'm calling the carseat guy tomorrow for an appointment during the week, but I will ask if he is doing anymore weekend checks and let you know!

For DH's car, I would switch car for the day. Take his car. Take the double stroller and get the carseat inspected.

The guy I use comes to the house. He has been here a number of times and my friends use him as well. He is fantastic. Don't stress yourself - call him. He doesn't charge but, we do tip him - I think everyone does. Here is his info:

He does both - I have had him fully install car seats for us and just inspect. I can tell you what he is going to say already though since he and I have discussed it a number of times - keep it rear facing. DD was 11 mos when he installed hers. She weighed less but was taller - she will be rear facing for a while - he said it is much safer that way and keep it that way as long as possible.

Thank you for offering!- but he just turned our seat around on Friday - that is how I found out DD has outgrown her comfortsport (she has a tall torso and the top strap is under her shoulders so I can't turn the seat - and she is too pretzel RF. He said he doesn't do weekends or holidays.
