Car Seat Issue!
Well, I am really disappointed in the car seat I got for DS. I picked it out long ago and recieved it as a gift for my shower. He has now grown out of his infant car seat, so yesterday broke out the "bigger" one and installed it in the car. It only has 2 positions....and the recline position is not even near "reclining"... He is just 6 months and just starting to sit up. In this seat, he has barely any support on his back, let alone his neck. My poor little guy feel asleep in the car ride home last night and his head was bobbing all over I don't know if I should try to return it or keep it for when he is like toddler size and faces forward in it and just go buy another one in the mean time?
What would you ladies do? Can anyone recommend a good car seat that is rear facing and really "RECLINES"...
TIA- Anne

Re: Car Seat Issue!
We used the Evenflo Triumph 5 car seat which got excellent saftey ratings. I do a lot of research on these before I buy them! I believe it reclines because my son was in a more lying down position. It's a very comfortable carseat.

Re: Car Seat Issue!
I have the Graco comfort sport, and really like it. DD is able to sleep with her head tilted to the side, and seems to be comfy in it. You can't tell by the pic, though -- we have rolled towels under the front it so that it is in the 'green' on the level indicator.

Re: Car Seat Issue!
My car seats info is outdated so I wont recommend one. You should definitely try to return his car seat. BRU takes many things back.

Re: Car Seat Issue!
I have the britax marathon and absolutely LOVE it. It is worth every penny of the cost. It has good recline options for each age. My daughter has fallen asleep in it many times and she never slumps down, the most is her head tilts and rests on the side. We also have an Evenflo titan as a backup in DHs car and when she falls asleep in that she slumps over, I cant stand seeing that.
My vote is 100% for the Britax Marathon!

Re: Car Seat Issue!
Thanks !
I am looking at the Britax online-
What is the difference between the "Marathon" vs the "Roundabout"?
I know price is different, but what makes one better than the other?

Re: Car Seat Issue!
that looks like a great car seat. Ryan was in his infant one till closer to a year (maybe 10 months-cant remember exactly, but more than 6). Are you sure he has outgrown the infant one already?

He is 19 lbs 4 oz and 28 inches long. He is really big in that carrier. According to the packaging- it goes up to 27 inches or 20 lbs. So he nearly meets both criteria.
