car seat on vacation
Ok, I posted this a while ago and didn't get too many responses, so I'm going to try again. We're going to be taking DS to Mexico this summer. We will cab it from the airport to the hotel (10 min) and possibly leave the resort maybe once for dinner. Otherwise we'll be staying within the resort. DS will be about 8-9 months and will no longer fit in the carrier car seat.
Do I really need to take a car seat? Maybe I sound like a bad mother, but it just seems like such a big thing to have to drag with us for 2 short car rides.

I'm a bad mother too, because I'm not taking DS's either. We plan on staying at the resort the whole time, and we'll probably take a shuttle to the airport.

I'd say as long as you are definately limited to those two short trips than I would not worry about it.
