car seat position
Question about were to put the infant carseat in the car. Does it have to be in the center? My truck has the latch system on the outer seats, so would I put it there? If so, then does it go behind the driver or the passenger? Thanks!

Re: car seat position
I'm no expert at all, but I spoke with my friend's DH who's a cop and says behind the passenger seat is fine. This way it's easier to see the baby.

Re: car seat position
if you can't put it in the middle behind the passanger seat is the best so you can reach back and see the baby.

Re: car seat position
They say the center is the safest- besides that the next safest is behind the passenger seat

Re: car seat position
Center is the best.
The reason for the passenger side is not so you can see the baby, but rather it is a safer location.
Fewer crashes occur in the rear passeneger location than the read driver position. So while we love to look at our babies, we place them on the passenger side for safety reasons.
