Car Seat Question
I am coming to NY in September (get your playdates ready) and my parents were talking about buying a car seat to use in future and on this trip. They have a Toyota Camry and a Chrysler mini-van type thingy. What kind of car seat fits into a mini-van, it doesn't have the latch thingy...
Any good recommendations for a car seat thats not too expensive???

Re: Car Seat Question
I think all carseats fits in all cars. Most carseats can also be installed with the latch system or the seat belts.

Re: Car Seat Question
I think the Graco Comfort Sport is supposed to be pretty good. That's the one we were going to get for DH's car (and I'm a researching freak), but we ended up getting a second Britax virtually for free.

Re: Car Seat Question
Wow, you and your hubby are braving coming to the States again? Be sure to bring your health insurance card!
I'd be happy to lend you one of the seats out of our second car while you are here. It's silly for your parents to spend the money if it's only going to be used for a very short period of time. They are Evenflo Triumph 5 and they can be installed with the seatbelt, although we've only done it LATCH. But the book is there so you should be able to figure it out.
