Car Seat spinoff--- when will you install yours in your car?

I'm almost 37 weeks - it's in the car but isnt installed - I told DH that he has to do it. If it were up to me it would have been installed right after my shower - but I figured that DH should be in charge of something - so naturally it's still not done!

I plan to do it at NSUH-Plainview the first Saturday in May -- my shower is this Saturday and the travel system is off the registry so I expect to have the car seat by then!

We are planning to do it this week.
The police dept has to inspect and certify it before we are allowed to leave the hospital, and they only do that once a week.

My DH did it while I was in the hospital! Even when I went to the dr. at 36 weeks and knew I was going to be induced that week, he still procrastinated!!!

DH installed it the day after our son was born, while I was still in the hospital with the baby and we will do the same this time.

Ours has been installed for at least 4 weeks now. It is important for all you ladies to go as well because they show you how to do it.
We got it installed at the State Police Station in Farmingdale. They suggested we both be there because it's easier for it to be installed properly.
