Car seat Suggestions- Need your help

Hi, Ava is growing out of her Evenflo Triumph car seat soon- She is about 35 lbs, and it holds up to 40 lbs. (2 1/2 years old)

I recently bought the Britax Marathon in a pretty flower pattern. We used it for 2 weeks and she hates it!!! She gives me a hard time everytime I try to strap her in and says "my back..it hurts my back". I took it apart and there is nothing that could be hurting her back, so I returned it. I also didn't like that you had to put in booth side of the buckle before it would "snap" in. She is very wiggly, so that made it hard for me.

I want a seat with a 5 point harness that holds up to 60 lbs or more. I did some research and found 2 brands that have this- They are Recaro and Sunshine Kids. Does anyone have these- or can suggest anything else???

Thanks, Tara

Theres another one out there. A Cosco (sometimes called Safety First, I guess its the same company) Apex 65. It has a 5 pt harness up to 65 lbs. Then it can be used as a booster after that using the seatbelt. It will be hard to find in the stores, but you can order it online, do a search. If you want to see her in it, I found it at Target in Copaigue. When I was there it wasnt in stock but they did have a floor model. Its not as plush as a Britax and it sort of has a funky buckle shape, they kind of have to keep their legs wider. But its another option. I tried my son in it and he said it was comfy. Im sorry she didnt like the Marathon, I love the ones we have. The click that you are talking about is actually a positive feature - unless you get that single click, you know one or both sides are not fastened properly.

We have a Recaro - love it! I think it's called the Young Sport (it has a five-point harness). It has side support so when he falls asleep, his head doesn't droop. He seems to like it too.
