Car seats: Do you prefer lighter or darker covers?

I'm going to buy the covertible car seats for DS, but I'm not sure which pattern to get. Right now, he spits up a lot. It usually lands on the bib and his clothes, but sometimes it ends up on the car seat. Would stains show up more on darker (grey/black) covers or lighter (tan) covers?

Did you buy lighter or darker color car seat covers?

We have the Evenflo Triumph in the color below. The car gets so hot overnight in the summer and Athan gets so hot sitting in it (his back literally sweats) that I couldn't imagine do a darker color just based on the heat factor alone. Plus my car has a beige leather interior so I wanted it to match Chat Icon

well, if it's food, I think grey/black will show less stains.... if it's formula/milk, probably tan would....

Don't worry about the heat factor. they make silver covers for carseats to reflect heat away... a simple enough solution... personally, I'd get tan if your car interior was tan, and I'd get black/grey if your car interior is grey......

We matched ours to the car interior - so it's black/gray
