Car seats/travel systems for doubles....

Hi! I am so new to this and I have so many questions, but my main Q are:

1. Do I need separate infant car seats and then have to upgrade and get new baby car seats? Or do they make car seats that are for both, where you can just remove padding and components, etc.?

2. Is there a site that reviews all strollers and car seats, cribs, etc? Like a CNet.com for baby products....

The baby bargains book might compare them. I haven't researched too much yet but we are thinking of using the snap and go since it's easy to transition from the car to stroller, especially with 2. Then we would have to get the regular caresses when they are bigger.
