Car Stereo/Ipod/XM question
DH is getting me a new stereo for the car for my birthday...Questions...
I want something that I can hook my Ipod directly into cuz the transmitter sux, but I would also like to get XM satellite...any recommendations, suggestions?

Anything Pioneer premier is good Alpine is not bad. I personally would get Sirius. If you don't have satellite get Sirius. If you have XM already Then see if XM has something called a FM modulator. Its real easy to install. Basically where your car antenna plugs into the back of the radio you will plug in the modulator. then your antenna will plug into the modulator. off of the modulator is a wire that you run to where ever your satellite radio is. I have one and it sounds great. It pretty much perfect. As far as your IPOD goes make sure the radio has a Auxiliary out. This will be a set of RCA cables that come off the back of the radio. Where ever you buy the radio they will also have an adaptor you can buy that ca connect to the AUX to the IPOD. IF YOU NEED ANY other questions asked feel free to contact me.
