I love it!!! We went to a 1st birthday with this theme and it was so much fun. The centerpieces were these huge balloon arrangements - some so big they had more balloons inside. Lots of fun colors too!

I know! I found one of her old posts and saved it to my notebook. She had some great ideas. I am not as talented or creative as Val, but I will try. DH liked the idea too, so I think we are going to go with it.
Now where can I get a cake shaped like a circus tent that won't break the bank?

I just went to one this past week end, it was a blast. The hostess had a dunk machine, popcorn machine, cotton candy machine, spin art, dodge ball (with beach balls that the kids took home), a waterslide, and dollar store toys. The paper goods were all JoJo's circus, and the cake was a circus theme from Costco.

We had a carnival theme 1st b-day. The goodies bags were filled with all the little trinkets you find at carnival (for older kids (2+)), we had a bounce house, hoola hoops, carnival games and bbq (hamburger, hotdog, etc). It was a blast, everyone said they had a great time.
It's a great idea and pretty easy.
