carpet cleaner?
Hi all!
I figured with all the kids on this board, this would be a good room to ask in...
Does anyone know of a good company that they would recommend to clean my carpet? I live in the huntington area if that helps. Thanks so much!! Hope everyone is doing well!

I don't know much since I own my own steam cleaner, but my Grandmother gets hers done by Chemdry. They use special chemicals (safe to pets and children) to clean and the carpets are dry within an hour as opposed to a full day or more with a regular steam clean. They do her living room, dining room, bedroom, and den for a little over $100 (I think...).

Be careful of carpet cleaners if you have crawler. If you do a search on the board, Kelly Preston became an advocate of organic cleaning products after their child became ill from carpet cleaners.

I was about o say the same thing, all the chemicals are VERY dangerous, why not got o Wild by Nature, they have pennysavers with organic advirisements and may even have a capret steamer than you can rent and use "safe" cleaners.

ChemDry uses seltzer to clean carpets. I have a very allergic dog. They are $$$ but worth it.
