carrier to convertible carseat switch
When did you switch over to the convertible carseat? DD will be 7 months on the 11th and at her 6 month visit she was 18lbs 5oz. Sometimes I think she looks squished in the carseat. I don't see her be comfy in there to 35 lbs

We switched DD right before 6 months. SHe hated the infant carrier so I figured give the convertible a try and it worked. She loves it! Plus I was getting tired of lugging her up and down 3 flights of stairs in it too

Re: carrier to convertible carseat switch
As soon as we got a car large enough to fit our convertable LOL. DS was almost 7 months... he's almost 10 months, and prolly still can fit in his infant seat...but I think we're finally gonna put it away... lol

Re: carrier to convertible carseat switch
DS#1 was out of it around 6 months. This DS is still in it at 9 months. To be honest, if I can keep him in it all winter that would make my life much easier. I'll deal with the heaviness as opposed to taking him in and out of the carseat a million times a day.

I tend to agree with this. I wish DS could fit in one of those this winter. I hate taking him in and out of the seat now and especially b/c I can't just use the cover I had for it and don't want him in there with a heavy coat. Ugh, it's just a pain!
To answer your question, we moved DS when he was almost 8 months. He was well below the weight limit but getting really close to the height.
