Casey keeps chewing the wood on my windowsills!!!

What can I do???? It's like, she is fine for 6 months, then all of a sudden decides to chew on the original 60 year old wooden frames of my windows!!! I sprayed it with bitter apple but I don't know what else to do

She has PLENTY of chew toys around.....

Put Cayenne pepper mixed with water.

Also check her gum line & her teeth to make sure there is not tartar building or a gum irritation.

How does she get to the window sill? Does she go on the couch? If she is going the couch and then chewing the sill maybe dont allow her on the couch. We do not allow Roxy on our couch. Once in a blue moon DH will get her up only for a few minutes.

Here's a pic - the windowsill is behind the recliner in the corner of the room, it's where her bed is. So she does have access to the windowsill.....there's no way I can not allow her back there. I have no other place to put her bed.
