Casey threw up and had diarrhea (sorry TMI)
She had diarrhea about a week ago. This was the first time in 4 years she has gone inside the house. Then this morning, I came downstairs to find 2 piles of diarrhea and 1 vomit (both on the rug of course  ). My DH said maybe it's from the heat? I have the AC on for her and the cats while we are at work and I leave plenty of fresh water with ice cubes. I'm making her some white rice before I leave for work.
I'm worried about her, it's so unlike her

Did she eat grass with fertilizer on it? Or did you give her any new chew sticks or bones? I know sometimes that could be the cause..

Keep an eye on it, if she keeps getting sick bring her to the vet ASAP.
I hope she's feeling better soon!!!

Did you change anything with her food or snacks? Maybe give her a bone you normally dont? Goldens have very sensative tummys.
We gave Sim a bone last week on Sunday night. It was a T bone from a steak. Monday he started with the accidents in the house and the vomit. DH was off from work that day and said it seemed like Sim wanted to go out all the time. We made him rice and he didnt eat any of it.
Tuesday he still hadn't eaten and was still having problems. DH took him out and saw that he had gone blood. DH freaked thinking the worst and called the vet immediately. Took him in.
Turns out absolutely nothing at all. The blood was from pushing too hard. The bone just upset his stomach. The vet gave him a shot of B-12 and some medicine and by Wednesday he was back to his old tricks again.
Keep an eye on Casey's water. Make sure she is drinking her water. If it looks like she's not try giving her ice cubes to at least give her some type of fluids. If she is still having the issues call the vet right away.

Yep, she's drinking tons of fresh water.
DH and I figured out last night it must have been from the lawn fertilizer - now I feel like a bad mommy
She's doing ok today, no accidents so far  I made her white rice yesterday and today mixed some on with her crunchies.

Glad she's feeling better. It may have been the lawn fertilizer. The white rice should really help
