Cashmere sweater dress-yay or nay?
I'm a curvy chick size 14. Think this would be flattering? Is a dress like this not a good plan for my body type? I'm more top heavy than bottom.

yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. Hard to get sweater dresses for that reason.
I love this one though.
I bet it would cling to all of my lumps but I was thinking spanx would help.

I'm concerned that the mock-neck will accentuate the boobage  I cannot pull off mock-necks, they do not flatter me and we have similar bodies.

nay .... i am plus sized and those look good on paper..lol bu in real life one bump or bulge or bending over...eeeh..if there was rouching or some faint print you wouldnt see any "flaws" but in solid color ... i see trouble...but its a beautiful dress indeed

Nay - I also think the cashmere tends to be a lighter material so it will show every bump - good and bad.
I think maybe a thicker sweater dress (i.e. wool) would be a bit more flattering and could not be as clingy.
I bought a dress like this and I learned - You have to try it on! Some of them just looked horrendous on me. I ended up getting a calvin klein one that I love and I think is flattering.

Nay -- for the body type you say you have -- I think this would definitely exaggerate the wrong spots.

I like the dress, but I personally woudn't wear it. High neck lines aren't flattering on my big chest & sweater dresses cling to my belly.
I have 1 that has sort of wrap top with a band at the waist & that works well, with hose or spanx. The plain sweater one I had was a don't.

If you're top heavy I wouldn't wear it. I am very curvy and find that those type of dresses don't look right on me. Can you try it on???
