Cat groomer?

So we have a full-blood Persian kitty...we like to keep him in a lion cut because otherwise his fur is EVERYWHERE...when he's not shaved I have to vacuum the rug daily and even then it looks a wreck.

We've been using a dog/cat groomer by us every couple of months...but for $85 a session they do a really terrible job...he always comes back looking choppy, like he got in a fight with a trimmer and lost.

Does anyone have a groomer around Glen Cove they could recommend?? Better yet, does anyone know someone who does a good job and makes house calls?? TIA!

Re: Cat groomer?

since you are in glen cove- it's not to far to drive to Bell Blvd in Bayside - Happy Pet Tails is amazing!!!!!

they do the best Lion cut hands down

I have tried to find a place even close and I cant

this is the first one he ever got

Re: Cat groomer?

Thanks for the tips, your kitty looks great!

Unfortunately I looked up the directions and it says it's at least a 45 minute drive...I'd hate for my kitty to have to be in the car for that long if we can avoid it. DH drove him out here from Ohio when he moved here and the ride kind of traumatized him. Chat Icon

I can't imagine it taking that long from Glen Cove unless you yook northern blvd and hit every light

I could get there from Setauket in 60 and I am debating it
