Cat jumped on my side...

I was laying on the couch on my left side....DH thought he would be cute and put the cat on my hip (because the cat never likes to sleep with me only DH).....and of course the cat freaked and jabbed me in my side...kind of where my belly meets my ribs...and now I have a weird pulled muscle / tight feeling there...I shouldn't be worried right? I think the baby is safely cushioned further down....

If it's up by your ribs I believe you should be fine.

It's funny our cat does the same thing, only once in a blue moon will she sleep w/ me, but when she does she always sleeps by my belly...w/ DH she prefers the legs. And she's jumped on my boobs, which are super sore and sensitive, and my ribs, but never hard enough for me to pull a muscle.
