Cat not using litter box after antibiotic shot
Bella (14) went to the vet on Friday. Last night she pooped on the kitchen floor and today went to poop there again but I was able to stop her.
She received the antibiotic for a possible UTI but we weren't sure exactly what was wrong. We saw drops of blood on the floor and assumed it was here because there was blood in her stool and vomit a few days ago. She was examined and had no cuts. We decided not to do blood work and are just keeping an eye out for anymore blood.
I don't know why she would stop using the litter suddenly

If she has blood in her stool, I would be concerned about some kind of rectum issue. A lot times little box issues are a result of pain during urination/deification which the cat associates with the litter box. I would bring her back to the vet. Hope kitty feels better soon

Thanks. She only had the blood once in her stoll and once in her vomit. The vet didn't seem too concerned since it was recurring.
She seems to be going to the bathroom in the litter box again. It's just so strange. In 14 years, she has never not gone in there.
