My cat who is 5 months old is now being a complete lunatic! We had the sccat spray but now she isn't afraid of it and will jump on the table, counter, jump into the sink too! DH is losing his mind and is all scratched up and I'm trying to help but she can't be held by me for too long because I'm nervous she will bite and scratch and I'm pregnant so it could be bad. Help. awww she's still a kitten. kittens are nuts. but you have to teach her boundaries when she's young. keep reinforcing inappropriate behavior. Have you tried a water spray bottle (i never did but it works for some people)? Repetitive negative reinforcement is important (a stern "NO") when she jumps on the counter, etc.
good luck!!!

ITA! She's just a baby! What about a jar of pennies or something loud?

I used the spray bottle when we got sushi. Just be consistent. She never jumps on my counters or dining room table.

aww she's a baby, that's why! and kittens are such naughty little critters.. mine thinks he still a kitten but, try something loud and that will distract them.. give her some new toys so she'll go bonkers after that.. its just a phase, and they grow out of it..
