Catering (not halls) recommendations
Catering...can anyone recommend a good place that does catering (for my daughters 1st birthday party). I've gotten a few quotes and they are insanely expensive!!! I'm in West Islip if that helps!

There has got to be someplace closer, but Alias, Smith, and Jones (oceanside) does some great outside catering. They are reasonably priced, as well.

I went to an event done by Posh Palate in Babylon. I have a feeling it was expensive but it was amazing. I want a chance to use them sometime!!!! I have done great with a local pizzeria. There is always Fireside, too.

A friend had a party catered from Gemelli's and I thought it was good. It was more like deli-ish fare though so I don't know if you are looking for something more upscale or not.

Elegant Eating did our engagement party and my BIL's engagement party, they were fabulous and everything was delicious!

Also I've never used them, but I've heard quite a few people recommend Country Roads Catering in Amityville.

We've used Zorn's a few times and have always been happy - and for what you get, the prices are fantastic!

Joe's Italian Food Market in West Babylon. I'm using them for DDs birthday. Also, Special affairs Catering in Farmingdale. Use them all the time.

Yum! I have also used Ferring Deli in Baldwin for parties. The shrimp parm is awesome!

ive used magia in north babylon, the food is awesome and they sometimes have a coupon for $$ off in that local babylon flyer with restaurant coupons that comes in the mail
