Catholic schools

Looking into a few Catholic schools in area- st annes in Garden city, St Elizabeth in Bellmore, our lady of mercy school in Hicksville and St Christopher in Belford . Anyone have any comments or opinions on any of these? Thanks so much. My kids will be in kinder and 2nd grade next year

Anyone hear of rumors that st Elizabeth might be closing due to enrollment numbers?

Not familiar with all of those schools, but I do know St. Ann's is very nice. Have not heard anything about St. Elizabeth's closing. There is also St. Brigid's in Westbury which is very good.

There was a whole article on the future of the Catholic Schools in Newsday a week or two ago. It said due to the closing of so many schools last year that they don't plan on closing anymore schools for awhile. I know that St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (SEAS) was one of the schools that was rumored to close because some of the classes have as few as 8 kids but it wasn't closed and if the article is correct, it won't, at least for a few years after they reevaluate how the schools are doing after all the closings and all the new changes they are implementing.

Thanks for the replies. Planning on checking them out next week . The 4 I listed were all in the same price range. St Bridigt was way more expensive :( and they didn't have any openings for kinder
