cats and allergies
So, I am allergic to cats, they make my eyes swell and tear but I have two and I am normally not allergic to my own. I don't know if it's because I am used to them or because they are indoor cats so they don't bring in dander from the outside or because I vacuum like no ones business.
Well today, seems like the cats are SUPER bothering my allergies. My nose is running and my eyes itch and are swollen and it's only getting worse. I am afraid that my eyes are going to swell shut (they have before) is there anything I can take while pregnant like benedryl or something?

Re: cats and allergies
My Dr OKed claritin and zyrtec FYI- Zyrtec tends to work better on me for my cat allergies- because it's for indoor and outdoor allergies ( so cats, and pollen, etc)
It might not be your cats that are bothering you today- it could be something in the air.
The other night I got an allergy attack out of the blue. I took a Zyrtec and it was gone in an hour.
