Cats up for Adoption
My mom's best friend has four ADORABLE cats up for adoption. They are about 9 months (two males and a female) and a one year old female. She rescued them from the streets a while back, has had them fixed, vaccinated, EVERYTHING!! She loves them so much, but already has three cats of her own, and she just can't keep up with all of it. It's breaking her heart to have to "give them up", but she lives in a small apartment and space is really an issue. She's looking for a loving home for her furry friends and has contacted EVERYWHERE! Shelters, etc., and no one has "room" for them. If anyone is interested in adopting a cat from my friend, please let me know. She will email me later with pics and I will update this post. Please spread the word and help us find a happy home for her furry babies. TIA!!

Re: Kittens up for Adoption
good luck finding them a home. Did you try the Little Shelter in Pt. Jeff? The kittens might be easier to adopt out - so they may take them

Re: Kittens up for Adoption
I will mention that place to my friend. She is so upset that she can't find them a good home. She's taking great care of all three kitties and is looking so hard for the right placement for them.

Re: Kittens up for Adoption
9 month old kittens are basically considered adults at this point. Kittens would be 2-3 months. Rescuers never use the term get rid of, and being part of a rescue organization to us we only get "rid" of our garbage. The ASPCA in Manhattan is the best!!! Excellent adoption program. Every Tuesday from 1-4 is public intake. That is probably the only organization that will help the cats.

Thanks for the info. Do you have the number for the ASPCA in Manhattan?

Re: Kittens up for Adoption
Here is some additional info for those interested This is from my friend.....
"Sadie is the stray that I had fixed through fix-a-ferral and she turned out to be a sweet cat so I was hoping to find her a home. She has been spayed, has her rabies shot and has had her first set of shots, she is scheduled for the last of her shots on Jan. 3rd. She is FELV/FIV negative. She is very sweet with me and with a little TLC I think she would be a great pet, she sometimes gets a little scared with someone she doesn't know. Right now she is on an antibiotic for a tooth infection, but should will be fine once the infection clears. Otie(Otis), Ollie and Olivia(Livie) are all from the same litter, Otie has all his shots, Olivia and Ollie need their final booster which I will take care of, they have all been spayed/neutered, dewormed, had their shots including rabies and are FELV/FIV negative. Otis and Ollie are more outgoing, Olivia is a little bit shy and attached to both her brothers. Otis is a real mush! If you need any additional information please let me know."
Here are some pics....Sadie, Livie, Ollie, and Otie
