CBEFM vs. CB OPK
I was using cheapie OPKs when I decided to order good, digital ones..I was just browsing Amazon and saw that the CBEFM is less money and comes with more (30) versus the CB digital OPK (20)... What is the difference between the two? Just wondering why one would be more expensive than the other. Thanks!

Re: CBEFM vs. CB OPK
you need the CBEFM monitor in order to use those tests. the monitor is in the 150 to 300 dollar range. the test sticks are used for the monitor. you get 30 in a box.
from your post it sounds like you are comparing the stick tests to one another. but remember you need to have the actual monitor unit to use with the CBEFM sticks.
I'm not 100% sure I fully understand your question though.

yea... in a sense there is.
the CBEFM is a fertility monitor that gets to know you. Think of it like a little machine or computer that starts to know when you ovulate, etc. It takes about 3 months to get to know you. Basically it will ask you to test on specific days (in the beginning it will have you start testing on cd10 i think, but if you usually ovulate late then it asks you to start testing a little later on).... you test everyday it asks. the readings that come up are: low, high, and peak. low means you aren't ovulating. High means you are going to ovulate soon. and peak (2days are peak) means you are ovulating sometime in the 2 day frame. What's nice about the machine is that you can get multiple high days before the peak days.... so you know ovulation is right around the corner. you know to have sex BEFORE you ovulate, and during ovulation; thus increasing your chances of getting pregnant.
Using an OPK... is just using an ovulation stick test at random pretty much. You will get a smiley or some indication that you are ovulating and if you don't get one then you aren't ovulating yet. So you miss out on that window before you ovulate.... the one with the CBEFM that you get HIGH readings for.
It's all up to you what method you prefer or are more comfortable using. some girls like temping, some like opks, some like cbefm, some like all of them at once, some like none of them. just do whichever works best for you. I personally did the cbefm and opks, along with deanna's plan. I highly suggest you google deanna's plan. it's basically a sex schedule.
