CBS officially pulls plug on Two and a Half Men for remainder of season
Statement to TMZ after Charlie Sheen makes another crazy interview/phone call interview
CBS and Warner Bros. say, "Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of 'Two and a Half Men' for the remainder of the season."
I feel bad for the entire crew of the show who depend on it for their livelihood.

I knew what he was years ago when he made fun of his mother in law for having cancer. Remember that? Special place in hell for people who do things like that. I haven't been able to watch him in anything since that.

why would they do that!?!?!?  So the rest of the crew has to be punished bec of him?!?!?!?
Couldn't they write him off for the rest of the seaon, like went out of town or something....seems a little drastic to me no?!?!

He is such a selfish jerk (among other names I would like to call him but can't on LIF). They played that radio interview on the news this morning and he is just so full of himself. And why shouldn't he be? He's on his 9,999th 2nd chance. No matter what he does he's treated like gold. So sick of it.
I feel so bad for the other people who work on that show. I don't blame them for pulling the plug. His character really is the whole show and without him there isn't much there.

HOly moly! I heard his latest rant on that radio show he goes on all the time. He is out of his mind!!!
I do agree with a PP - they should have written him off this season....but I guess he's the star, so they can't.
I feel horrible for the crew! Hope they have a union!

I have always loved Charlie Sheen but it does seem like he took it too far with these radio station interviews bashing the creator and then going off on vacation when he is supposed to be in rehab. It does seem like he ruined it for the entire cast? He is going to be the next actor found dead somewhere.

idk if that would work... i havent watched any new eiposdes... but i watch it everyday at 7 or whatever time its on... and i dont think the show would work without him

At the end of each show there is a "Vanity Card" from Chuck Lorre Productions. You hardly get to read them because they are long and wordy but they are up for a second or two. The last show's card really caught my eye because of the last line and it was short.
It said:
I exercise regularly. I eat moderate amounts of healthy food. I make sure to get plenty of rest. I see my doctor once a year and my dentist twice a year. I floss every night. I've had chest x–rays, cardio stress tests, EKG's and colonoscopies. I see a psychologist and have a variety of hobbies to reduce stress. I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't do drugs. I don't have crazy, reckless sex with strangers.
If Charlie Sheen outlives me, I'm gonna be really p!ssed.
I don't know if this has anything to do with anything, but if I were Charlie Sheen, I would be p!ssed at Chuck Lorre too.

ITA and I think what Lorre said was meant as a joke, but a little tongue in cheek. He didn't even have to mention anything Sheen has done over the last few decades. Our minds just fill in the details because it's all so public. And it doesn't seem like Charlie Sheen is really worried about his image or anything. He never makes apologies for how he lives his life, even if he should.

There is no one else to blame for the show being cancelled except for him.
