CD 10 appointment tommorow
what do they do? Another sono? And more blood work? I know they will be retesting my TSH due to elevated results last time...
And for those who had IUI...what happens after todays appointment?
Thanks..I like hearing others experiences..appreciate it!

Re: CD 10 appointment tommorow
They will do a sono and b/w...and they will either tell you to use OPKs on your own or come back ina couple of days for another sono to see when you will O. I used the OPKs. Once I got a +OPK I called them and went in the next day for my IUI.
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Re: CD 10 appointment tommorow
same here. B/W and sono, for me they were able to estimate when I would O based on the size. They told me to use OPK's and if it didnt haooen by a certain day to come back. 1st time I had a positive OPK, second time I went back for repeat sono and B/W which showed I was "peaking" and I came back the next day.

Re: CD 10 appointment tommorow
Hopefully I am not replying too late but....if they do an u/s find out the exact size of your follicule and the exact thickness of your uterine lining. They may ramble the size off but it's good to keep record of it.

Re: CD 10 appointment tommorow
Hi..appointment went ok.... I have 3 follies growing, 10 , 10&1/2 and 11.
Turns out my TSH was high again and i do have hypothyroidism. I start synthroid( sp?) tommorow, and when (if) I get Pg, they said they have to double the dose? Anyone taking this now? Im a little nervous, because you have to basically take it for the rest of your life, and its so sudden?
Dr. Said the uterine lining was not so good last week, but much better and normal this week.
DH's SA was pretty good. Average, a little low on shape( morp) but IUI would be a recomendation for it.
I go Back on Sat. if no + LH surge by then.

Re: CD 10 appointment tommorow
I am glad to hear your uterine lining is good and you have those follies growing! You will probably ovulate in less than a week. Perhaps over the weekend. Definitely start bding :)
As far as being hypothyroid, do you know what your tsh, t3 and t4 were ? I have graves disease, which is hyperthyroidism. Actually, during pregnancy it can go into remission or even prior to pg or after. You may not necessarily take synthroid your entire life. Have you ever had your progesterone checked at 7 dpo ? Progesterone and tsh usually have a relationship.
You can forum mail me anytime and I can try to share what I have learned about the thyroid gland etc. If you definitely have hypothyroidism, I would see an endocrinologist in addition to a RE.

Re: CD 10 appointment tommorow
thanks guys!
the RE said the hypothyrodism is not severe ...I do not know the T3 and or T$ levels..the TSH was just over 6.2 and was higher and lower in the past. She said and my PCP agreed that I will do the Med's now b/c of trying to get PG and the stillborn and M/c I have had, but normally they wouldnt have started me out just yet on meds if not TTC....So...Im taking it day by day...she did say after I have a baby to go see an endocrinologist to be tested every 6 months. im on a semi mild dose( 50) of the Snythroid...

Re: CD 10 appointment tommorow
Donna- I am so sorry to hear about the hyperthyroidism. I guess the one good thing is that they jumped right on it and gave you meds. Hopefully this will bode well for you this cycle! Make sure you keep your turtle handy!!!
