CD Question...
I'm hoping someone can help me determine when to start counting CD 1. I was never a spotter before af, but even since my mc 7 months ago, i seem to spot 2 days before the actual "flow" starts.
so my question is - do i count the first day of spotting (usually pink or brown spotting) as cd 1 or the first day of the actual "flow" (red) -- sorry for the tmi...

I've been trying to determine that as well and i've read time and time again that it's the first day of flow not spotting that would be CD 1. Hope this helps

Ok - I went off BCP in Feb 06 - I have the same flow you do - basically I spot for 2 days, and then I get the heavy flow. Everyone told me to count the heavy flow as CD1, but my DR told me that CD 1 is that first day of spotting.
After I get the heavy flow, it is only around for about 2 days....
And after I have been charting now for a few months, my cycles average 25 days.....

it sounds like we have very similar cycles. i have also been counting cd 1 as the first day of spotting, making my cycle around 26 days. i was just concerned that i was counting it wrong and therefore being off on the day i O. ill try and get in touch with my doc as well and see what she says. ill let you know.

I also started using OPK - have you used one yet? It tells me exactly when I am going to O -

i have, but i never get a definite surge. i dont know why? i always get a faint second line, never two equally dark ones...maybe im doing it wrong?
