CD1 - IUI?

So I did my 1st round of IUI in February, skipped March due to scheduling/travel, and just got my period today. I would like to have IUI again this month -- I am supposed to call LIIVF today to notify them that I am on CD1, correct?

Thanks, ladies!

CD1 - IUI?

i have a question for you guys (sorry to divert from the OP's post) -- if you are using insurance, how many copays do you have to pay... LI IVF basically told me we would be going once to twice daily for a week or whatever. does that mean 7 copays! lol

When I was going for IUI with my insurance (Oxford) As long as you were in a medicated cycle, you only paid 1 copay at the beginning of the cycle.Which for me was $50. When It wasn't a medicated cycle, or if I was being monitored for cysts, it was $50 a shot. VERY EXPENSIVE!

I know there are women who do pay at each visit, medicated or not. You have to check with your insurance

At LI Ivf I paid a copay (15) for every monitoring appt. I did injectables and went about ten times a cycle for monitoring. But they don't always collect the copay in the am if you are in lake success - you can pay weekly or whatever.

Yes with LI IVF I pay my copay each time only if I have a sono. If I go in for just blood then I don't pay my copay. I probably pay a total of 4 or 5 copays for monitoring and then another the day of my IUI.

Is it considered a "specialist" that would mean possibly $500 for us!

I think most insurance plans treat an RE as a specialist.

I have oxford also. The only time I pay a copay is the consults. I never had to pay a copay at the beginning of cycles or any of my monitoring/ procedure appointments. I guess it just depends on your plan. Have you called your insurance company? They can give you all the minute details.

After an hour on hold we just got off with DWs insurance and it sounds like they cover everything, more than we expected so if we have to pay copays every time it may still be cheaper than we expected :)
We will find out for sure at our appt on 4/16
