Re: CD11 Anyone??
Yay! I saw your other post about normally being a late Oer...me too CD21 or 22. It's great to know that the clomid seems to move things along a bit quicker. If we don't get a BFP in the next few months we'll probablly ask the doctor what he thinks about starting clomid. This is only our 3rd cycle ttc but I have always had very long irregular cycles and I actually was misdiagnosed as having PCOS a few years ago (just found out in May that it was a misdiagnosis!)
Good luck with your appointments this week, can't wait to read the updates!

Thanks!! I will update for sure!!
Just as an FYI - you may want to see an RE about your irregular cycles now and talk to them about taking Metformin (aka Glucophage) I don't have PCOS either but like you my cycles were SO crazy erratic. I didn't always ovulate and I could go months without getting AF. The first time I took Metformin I still needed Provera every month to get AF but within 4 months I did ovulate on my own and I conceived my DD. This time around I started my Met (in Sept.), took Provera just once to start my cycle and since October I've had 2 cycles all on my own. Got AF twice and ovulated twice!! Sure my cycles were a little long (34-36 days total) but I least I have cycles regularly. It's worth looking into before Clomid. Just another option to consider. I took the Clomid this cycle for the LPD but I am happy it seems to have sped up the ovulation too!!
Hope we both get lucky this go around!!! Good luck!!!!

Thanks for the info, I actually should have worded that differently though. Before I started charting I thought I had irregular cycles. In fact I just have slightly longer than average cycles. Around 35 days. I did have a few bouts of irregularity as a teenager but I think that could be attributed to being on the pill and not taking it consistently. Dumb teenage me! I do have a question though...I though Metformin was for insulin resistence? Is it not? What exactly does it do? Well, now that was 3 questions!

It is technically for those who are insulin resistant (which I am not) but for whatever reason it's been shown to regulate cycles in women who don't get AF or ovulate regularly. I don't know the specifics of why it works but it's been a godsend for me!!!
