CD36 - UPDATE woo-hoo!!

And STILL no Chat Icon

How often is it that some women just wont get a Chat Icon? I have heard that it happens. I got one last month before I was even really sticking to the testing everyday and I have been feeling twinges in my side like I did last time and I went back on my account on Pregnancycountdown.com and checked my symptoms and I the same symptoms yesterday that I did on the day that I got my Chat Icon last time. I am just so confused by all of this. DH and I have been increasing the BD'ing just in case.

***********

Woo-hoo!!! I got my smiley this afternoon! I am soooo excited. Because I was following my body and what I had noted last month as far as symptoms go and I felt the same way so now I KNOW what my body feels like and I actually got my smiley face 11 days later in my cycle than last time, but at least I was correct in reading the signs. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I will try temping next cycle if it turns out that this one is not THE ONE!!

(I sent DH a pic of the smiley face on the OPK and his response was "AWESOME - lets DO this!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon)

Re: CD36

Are you only testing once a day? You could totally have had a surge but missed it and thats why you dont see a Chat Icon .

This last cycle, I tested around lunch time and it was negative. I tested once more for good measure about 3 hours later, and there it was!

Had I not tested that evening again, I wouldve missed it bc it was gone by lunch the next day!

Re: CD36

I am testing once a day for the most part and sometimes twice a day. These things are freakin' expensive and I already bought 2 20 packs thinking that would be enough and now I am already partway through the second pack. Feeling sad today, and that's exactly how I felt the day after I got my Chat Icon last cycle, so I am glad that DH and I decided to BD yesterday. Will go again today and tomorrow as well just in case I did miss the surge. Thanks for the response. A lot of the times I feel like nobody reads my questions.

Re: CD36

What I do, is I bought the internet cheapies, the Wondfos from Amazon. Sometimes the lines can be hard to interpret, so I just test and test and test with those and when the line starts to look almost positive or definitely positive, thats when I check with the digital OPK to confirm it. I use the digital to make sure Im reading the line correctly. That way you dont miss the surge, but you arent going through the digis like water bc they are expensive!

Are you temping or checking CM?

Good luck!

Exactly what I do. Once I see the line start to get darker thats when I use the digital. Temping would def. confirm if ovulation has occurred or not.

Re: CD36

I never got a smiley this monthChat Icon I'm pretty sure I ovulated because I definitely had some EWCM. I was only testing once a day though.

that's a good idea! I don't temp, and I feel like checking CM is also subjective, I can tell when I have more than other days but I am still up in the air as to what constitutes EWCM, I know that the phrase means, but the actuality of it for me is a little confusing (as in I am sitting in the bathroom going..."Hmmm....its stretchy and clear, so is it EWCM, or what?")
As for temping, I think that I am a little too sporadic with my schedule for that. I have an 11 month old puppy who sometimes STILL needs to be let out in the middle of the night so that would throw off the temping I would think so I am scared to try because I am afraid that it won't be accurate if I have to get up in the middle of the night. Is it really that complicated? Or do I just think that it is?

I have a 3 year old that wakes me up all the time, LOL! I set my alarm for 5:45 (even though, Im not up until 6:30-7) bc I know at that time, Ill have been asleep for a close to 3 hours as Im going to get and that my DS wont be in waking me up yet. I temp, barely conscious, will my eyes still closed and go back to sleep.
