Celebrity Obsession

I like celebrity gossip as much as the next person and have fun with it but the media circus surrounding Anna Nicole Smith's death is really making me wonder about our celebrity obsessed America. Her poor daughter, the things she will be able to look up and read about her mother one day. Your thoughts?

I completely agree with you. all I keep thinking about is that little innocent baby and how one day she will read all these horrible things about her mom I guess it's a good thing she's too young to understand what's going on. if she were a yr older this would be so traumatic for her

The sad thing is, if America's obsession with celebrity doesn't change, the same baby they are calling "innocent" and "poor thing" now, will be tabloid fodder for them by the time she reaches puberty.
