Cell phone - Touch screen or flip phone?

Would you get a Touch screen cell phone even though you didn't use the internet, email or texting features?

I have to get a new phone ASAP, but not sure what I want to get? It has to be either FREE or inexpensive. The other problem is that most of them don't have good reviews.

I've only had flip phones before so I'm not sure if a touch screen phone is good or not or a pain in the butt to use? Any thoughts? Thanks!

My DH has the LG Dare touch screen and I hate that phone with a passion. Trying to use it for making calls or txt msging drives me up the WALL.

I'd rather have a regular phone than a touch screen...but that's just me. My last 3 phones had full QWERTY keyboards --and I like that a lot more than touch screen.

I LOVE my Env Touch! But if you are just making calls, I'd go with a regular flip phone, and not waste the money on touch. My least fave thing is that it's so easy to unlock by accident. Flip phones aren't lol

My DH has a touch screen phone and we both dont like it. I love my phone its the EnV 2 they numbers are on the outside and then you flip it and there's a keyboard on the inside for texting

I just got my first touch screen phone - the LG Chocolate Touch. Love it! It has a screen lock and it hasn't pocket dialed once (I've had it about three weeks so far). It is easy to use and has a qwerty keyboard if you turn it sideways. Suits my needs. I considered a flip (Alias 2, EnV3) but they were to big and bulky for me.
