centers
I am going to start centers in my 2nd grade classroom. I am planning on having a math, listening, writing and science center. What other centers would be good to have?

poetry, spelling (word games), art, computer, theme (holiday, time of year, etc)

i teach first grade and for the poetry center i use a pocket chart and write the poem on cut up sentence strips and they have to put it back together

at my school we arent allowed to do math centers during the literacy block.
