Central Park Zoo review!!!
OK So I took DS yesterday. Despite the weather, or perhaps because of the weather, it was a great day to go, the crowds were nonexistent, it only sprinkled a few times during the day, and it was easy to walk around (stroller-friendly).
Must say for $12 (because ds is under 2) it was well worth it. BUT the main "zoo" was really "light" on exhibits. They have the seal tank right in the middle and do shows there throughout the day, that's cool. The penguins were great, DS loved them and a few other things. But the German couple walking behind us were not impressed - I quote: "$24 for a sleeping polar bear and 2 ducks  " 
We then hit the Children's Zoo which was I think the better part of the visit. Kids can walk around and feed and pet the animals (they are behind fences though) and it's nicely set up. Somewhere along the way Shane THREW OUT his sandal, I was unable to find it  so he was confined to his stroller for the day, I was PiZZZZzED cause I wanted to let him walk around. Oh well.
Later Daddy came to meet us and we visited FAO Schwartz then took the bus home. Great day, I highly recommend it!!!
*OH best part: As we approached the goats Shane started (completely spontaneously) singing E-I-E-I-O  Cognitive delay my azz

I love the Central Park Zoo. If you haven't been...the Queens Zoo is great for this age too and it's cheaper!

Love CP zoo, and Queens zoo too. THe membership is TOTALLY worth it IMO, especially with a baby.
