Cereal question.
Have anyone you girls given DC cereal before the 4 month mark? If so, did you give it to them on a spoon or in their bottle?

I did and I did it on the spoon. I wouldnt do it in the bottle. I want her to learn the difference between food and formula. I didnt want to mash it together and her not know. She now eats great from the spoon.

I gave to DS in the bottle at 10 weeks and then at 4 months started it on the spoon instead and he loved it - took it both ways just fine. I will admit though that he does enjoy the cereal bottles more than the plain formula now (without cereal). He still drinks plain formula though, just not as fast.

I did it with my son I started giving it to him at 3 months in the bottle and said forget this and started a week later on the spoon he did great with it but with my dd she had so many allergies to formula I waited till 4 months with her.

i did around 3 mths or so. spoon. i tried the bottle with cereal nipples, but it didn't make a difference so I just did the spoon.

I started a pinch in the bottle at 3 months, was told to do so by pediatrician to thicken the formula since
DC would throw up constatnly.
