cereal question
How old was your DC when you began giving them cereal? Also, after cereal, when did you start with baby food?

DD was 4 months. We did 3 weeks of cereal then went to veggies (my ped suggestion) then fruit.

I just brought my DD for her 4 1/2 month check up on Friday. She will be 5 months on the 25th. Doctoc said to start cereal for the next month and after that start with green veggies. Let me tell you I tasted the cereal it is disgusting I feel bad feeding it to her.

We started @ 5.5 months. We did cereal for 2 weeks and then we started with fruit. I know lots of people say that babies should start with veggies but I don't think it was any harm to DD to start with fruit. She still eats all of her veggies....doesn't turn her nose up at any of them. She also loves her cereal and fruit.

4.5 months. 2 weeks on cereal then started adding veggies.
