Certification Video--4th grade lesson plan

I have about two weeks to complete a video with a 4th grade class.


I do not regularly have this class so I am looking for something simple that will help me pass.
Though I was told they are very good, I am unsure how they will react to me.


Any suggestions? I would like to stay away from Math.

I am doing mine in 2 weeks and I have sketched out this as a rough plan

After reading Mufaro's beautiful daughters I will define Character traits and do one character trait web with the class. Then I will have the class do the other character web in pairs or individual (havent decided yet)
Lastly(if I need more time) I will have them do a Venn Diagram comparing the 2 girls
