Cervix check
I'm going for my first cervix check in 2 weeks at 24 weeks. How is this done ? (I will be at madonna in brightwaters)

Usually an internal sonogram is used to check the length of your cervix! Good Luck!

i have been going every 2 weeks since like 14 weeks. just went again today actually. It's just an internal sono....they will take a measurement of your cervix. It's quick and easy!

I am 19 weeks. I have had two cervix checks. At 16 weeks they measured on sonogram from the outside and the doctor did an internal check with her hands somehow. This week we had a internal sonogram to check cervix length. They sono tech told me they look for your length to be anything over 3 cm. Mine was 5.1 cm.

Thanks ladies. I did some searches online and was not sure how it was done.
Any of us who have been through fertility treatments should be comfortable with internal sonos.
