Chair & Tent Rental Recss
So sudden change of events for DSs Christening happene after today. Orignally we were going to have it at a Restaurant near the church, which is way out in East Northport. but then DH kept complaining that it was just too much money, evven though I got an awesome deal!! Well... sure enough, we are going to end up having a BBQ at his parents house...which they havve a pool, a nice sized deck, and a yard for the kiddies to run and play. It may be a bit of a drive after the church, but DH even went ahead and called the majority of his family to see if they would all still go to the church AND the party. All of them said of corse...so now I just need to hope that it's true LOL.
Now, for my question. We obviously do NOT have enough seating for 50+ people. I looked around online, and charis are bascially about $1.50 each!! YAAY! But I want to make sure to use a company that people have used and had good expirences with. Just my luck I would end up getting a company that gave me nothing but stress. TIA!!
Also, I don't know if this would be possible, but I would like to rent a tent, but ONLY if it were to rain. Like, if it's going to be sunny, we'd like to do without the tent since there is a fair amount of their yard that will be shade that time of day. Do you think a rental company would let me rent it ONLY if it were to rain..???

AAA party rental in garden city messed up my order once. I used them 2 times and was happy the first time but not the second.

We've used Taylor Rental numerous times for work functions and I never had any problems with them!

ETA: Not sure about the rain thing. I do know that they set up the tent the day before....sometimes two days before.
But although they can be expensive, I would still get one. Because if the sun is out and it is hot, people will want shade!

ALL of that for $300! I also found a coupon for 10% off so it came out to $270. I didnt have to show proof of the coupon i just said i found it in the south bay.

Fantasitic!! Thanks soo much for your help! I'll call around and see what works out best. Obviously I have never dealt with this before, and I have thrown a fair amount of parties LOL. I'll call around on Monday.... That last places listed (jojo) sounds amazzing! Ill have to call them.
Michelle, I'm hesitate on getting the tent ONLY b/c if it's NOT raing, the whole yard is shade...NO sun at all for that time of day...so spending 200 or more on something that will ONLY be needed if it rains, is my whole issue...AAhhh...maybe I'll jst splurge. LOL
