Chair rail rooms
I see that many of you have rooms with chair rails that seperate two different colors. Could you post your pictures of your rooms?

WE are not donw yet with the shadow boxes in the diningroom or the crown molding.

It is extremely easy. We did it in our hall and painted the bottom half a dark sage green and the top is cream and it took DH literally a couple of hours.

hmm.. if that is your dining room adjacent to the room w/the fireplace, I would say that nice beige/taupe color would look gorgeous! but leave the bottom white

that's what I was thinking..you think that would look ok with the other room being light yellow? Also the tile in the dining room is white with a salmon color almost a pink sand color

We did a chair rail throughout our basement. We used to different shades of greens. These aren't great pics., but you get the point! Image Attachment(s):
