Change of Address - US Mail
Anyone know how long this should take to start receiving mail at a new address? Danielle an I have been at her mother for a week and a half and we have not received that much mail...only a few stragglers.

It depends on the old post office. I have had some forward in a day or 2 others took a week or two. If you still don't get the mail call the old Post Office and they can help you...thats what I had to do when I moved from Holbrook to Lindenhurst.

Better get down to the Levittown post office ASAP and file a complaint with a delivery supervisor.
They are totally having problems with mail forwarding over there.

it took a month for some of our mail to be forwarded
definitely call and complain to see if that can speed up the process

i just had to go to my old house to get a package from LTD that was shipped there. don't you know i had THREE! important docs there? they were nice enough to hold onto them for me... one was DH's registration, which my address has been changed with Albany for months.
i don't get it. i never had such issues before. and i LOVED the lindy post office. it was the newest, cleanest one i was ever in. i guess the people in there aren't that sharp...
