Change of Address DMV
Do I have to go to the DMV to change my address or can I do it another way? Like online or by phone...

I haven't confirmed this yet myself, but just yesterday my co-worker told me you can do it online and it is cheaper than going into the DMV office.

to change it on your license?
Yes, you can do it online and they'll mail you a new one. i did this recently.

You can actually call and have them change it in the system. And then, instead of paying th $20 to get a new license, there is an area on the back of your license where you can write in the change.

you can definitely call.
In fact, I asked the lady at the DMV if I had to bring in a utility bill or something for proof and she snapped back, "i don't need no proof, you could tell me you live at the north pole for all I care".
