Changed my OBGYN...any thoughts on CHUNG?
i'm almost 15wks pregno and was going to a doctor at the women's health center in manhasset. the first couple of visits were very disappointed and she did not offer any suggestions or advices. she would only answer when asked..no details. i don't know what is going on with my pregnancy. all i know is that the baby is doing fine. this is my first pregnancy and i just thought a doctor would do a better job at informing and understanding my nervousness.
someone recommended Dr. Fried and Dr. Chung at Northern OBGYN. i called and was able to get an appt with dr. chung next month. any good or bad reviews? i just want someone that care enough to assure me and do a better job at informing me about tests and what to expect at every appt. is that too much to ask?
TIA

I can't give you any information about the new doctor you are going to see, but I can say you have every right to be comfortable with your doctor and expect them to show that they care about your concerns.
I changed doctors at 20 weeks, but it was because I moved. I have to say I am much happier with the doctors I am seeing now! I hope it works out better for you!

I too, cannot provide you feedback asbout the Dr's as well. I think if you are not getting the answers and realtionship you want from a dr., it is best to go with your gut and move on.

Re: Changed my OBGYN...any thoughts on CHUNG?
DR Chung is my ob/GYn and I love them all. The office is so friendly and they do all the prenatal testing in office. Level II ETC.. They have a onstaff radiologist. I don't like the sono tech ( no personality and doesn't really show you your baby and gives you pictures that are unidentifiable) and refuse to have her do any future sono just the radiologist. But all the DR's ar absolutely great and will call you back the same day if you should have any questions. I hope this helps!

Good for you!! I also changed about 3 months into my PG. I was not comfortable with the practice at all. It was the best decision I ever made.

Dr Chung and Dr Fried are my OBGYN's and I love them both, and all doctors in the practice are great. They are very pleaseant and easy to talk to. My husband loves them all too.
